My Sister Wants to Join Her School Trip to Bali (So, Would You Buy My Camera?)

This post won't be long. So please, read on.

I have a sister in second year of junior high school, and this April she has a school trip scheduled. To where? Bali. of course. Where else? Believe me, Bali is the most popular destination for a school trip in my hometown. It's almost as if other places don't exist on this earth. Pretty funny and quite an interesting phenomenon, if you ask me.

The school trip is not mandatory, actually. But she really really wants to go. She wants to go so bad I could hear it from her voice when she called one night, telling me enthusiastically about stuffs her classmates plan for this school trip. Fun fact: my sister is doing A LOT BETTER than I did in "Making Friends with Her Schoolmates" department (I was the misfit, and she is the center of the crowd), so I think it is natural for her to want the experience of going somewhere far with a lot of friends.. and some teachers as extras (that you can always ignore).

Unfortunately my parents cannot afford it. Neither do I, with my "Ya gitu, deh" paycheck (still thankful I have a job, though, or I can't even feed myself). But I want to let my sister participate in her school trip because this is kinda once in a lifetime experience for her. You can only have your junior high school trip once, don't you? So I must do something. Or let go of something.

I decide to sell my camera.

I have a Fujifilm X10 pocket camera I very rarely use. Praise the Lord for making my life and my face not Instagram-worthy, or else I might feel any hesitation to let go of this baby. Oh you can read the camera review here, if necessary.

Everything works out fine. Memory card 32GB included. And also, I still have the USB cable, the charger, the CD, the manual booklet, all that stuffs came together in the box. Yet I must admit that the box doesn't look so brand new and glorious again.

Okay. So this is where I supposed to tell you how much my secondhand camera costs.

I'll sell this for Rp2,300,000.

The school trip fee is Rp1,785,000 and I will give the rest of the money to my sister so she can have some fun activities there with her friends, or perhaps buy herself a T-shirt or two. I won't charge you for shipping. If you are interested, or want to negotiate the price (just don't push it too much, it's below the standard secondhand price already) feel free to mail me at coldbutterbeer@gmail.com or leave me messages via LINE (username: chocolatefudgecake).

The payment for my sister's school trip is due on February 24th, so I really appreciate it if you guys would help me spread the word. Cheers.

UPDATE: today, at exactly 13:00 PM, this camera is SOLD to a very, very kind lady. I cannot believe this. My sister will be deliriously happy. I think she is gonna have a blast. Thank you, everyone, for spreading this post. You guys help plenty in making her wish come true.

    1. Saya dulu pas SMP juga study tour-nya kelas 2 kok, Mas. Kan ada guru-gurunya juga (yang biasanya dicuekin, jadi ya biasanya malah piknik sendiri sama sesama guru yang ikut "mengawasi").
